We are glad to introduce to you all another ocean treasure<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in the fringing coral reef in the An Thoi archipelago<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, a remote island which is about 16 km away from the An Thoi harbor by South at Phu Quoc Half-moon Reef<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. This ocean treasure named Phu Quoc Coral Continental Slope, it is a range of multi-types of coral, located on a slope that belongs to an underwater landmass of a continental shelf. On the Coral Continental Slope, you will find many types of hard corals such as Bushy coral (Pocillopora damicomis), Encrusting coral (Montipora monasteria), Tube coral, Porite Lueta coral\u2026and the presence of anemone reefs, typically Encrusting corals cover most of the surface of the Coral Continental Slope. The inclination of the coral slope is not too high as the depths vary within a range of 2 m to 5 m along the length of about 5 \u2013 6 m from the highest point to the lowest point. Lots of tourists will neglect this spot as they don\u2019t recognize the beauty of it or they don\u2019t know the proper manner to admire the whole beauty of the Phu Quoc Coral Continental Slope. Along the Phu Quoc Coral Continental Slope from above you will find out the highest point at easy which is about 2 m deep and this is a complex spot of multi-types of coral and anemone, this spot is also the highlight in admiring the beauty of the coral covered slope.\u00a0 With the natures of hard coral and especially Tube coral and yellow Bushy corals then you will encounter a trace of difficulty in recognizing the hidden beauty of it.<\/p>\n

You have 2 ways in order to obtain amazing exploration of the Phu Quoc Coral Continental Slope, one is to start from the highest point of the coral-covered slope and gradually dive down along the slope. Or the second way is to start right at above of the complex spot of multi-types of corals, you will be able to dive down the depth of 4 or 5 m at first then start to swim up along the coral covered slope across the highlight spot \u2013 the complex spot of multi-types of corals.<\/p>\n

We suggest the second way for those who want to enjoy the adventurous feeling, the photo above was taken at the position near the lowest point of the Phu Quoc Coral Continental Slope.<\/p>\n

That is the very image of a vast miraculous ocean.<\/p>\n

The light shining through the water surface combined with schools of reef fish swimming at the rear of the Bushy corals, Tube coral and Anemones, the combination of colors, marine creatures, coral\u2019s shape, anemones make up a stunningly beautiful scenery as if you are contemplating a miniature ocean.<\/p>\n
