In the past two days, <\/span>October 22 – 23, 2025, OnBird Phu Quoc<\/b> officially began the Reef Regeneration Project at Coral Jungle Reef<\/a><\/strong>, marking an important step in the ongoing effort for coral reef restoration<\/strong><\/a> in Phu Quoc Island.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The initial restoration zone <\/span>spans approximately 500 square meters<\/b>, distributed across various sections of the Coral Jungle Reef, and<\/span> defined by red marker lines underwater. Within this area, our team and marine biologists have installed coral bases and begun transplanting fragments nurtured in both the <\/span>Northern and Southern coral nurseries<\/b> \u2014 colonies that have been <\/span>grown and monitored for more than six months.<\/b><\/p>\n\n

To date, eight coral species<\/b> have been successfully prepared and transplanted \u2014 two more than initially planned<\/b> \u2014 building a strong foundation for biodiversity recovery:<\/span><\/p>\n
