Through simple yet meaningful actions \u2014 <\/span><b>reef cleaning and coral planting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 they have become active participants in the revival of Phu Quoc\u2019s marine ecosystems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since <\/span><b>May 2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, OnBird has collaborated with <\/span><b>marine biologists<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to launch the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/onbird.vn\/onbird-reports-encouraging-outcomes-from-phu-quoc-coral-nursery\/\"><b>Coral Nursery Project<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in southern Phu Quoc. Focusing on <\/span><b>reef-building coral species<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, our team collected coral fragments from degraded reefs to nurture and grow within the nursery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To date, <\/span><b>nine nursery tables<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have been established, hosting <\/span><b>six main coral species<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <strong>thousands of coral fragments under cultivation<\/strong>. Using the <\/span><b>micro-fragmentation technique<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and after five months of careful monitoring, the nursery has achieved <strong>over <\/strong><\/span><strong>90% survival rate<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with <strong>corals showing strong growth and firm attachment to substrates. Increasing numbers of reef fish have also returned<\/strong> \u2014 a promising indicator of <\/span><b>nature\u2019s resilient recovery<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Building on these results, OnBird has officially launched <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/onbird.vn\/reef-regeneration-project-begins-at-coral-jungle-reef\/\"><b>Phase 1 of the Reef Regeneration Project in Phu Quoc<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. On <\/span><b>October 22\u201323<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <strong>five coral species from the nursery<\/strong> that reached optimal size were <\/span><b>transplanted into degraded reef areas at Coral Jungle Reef<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, covering approximately <\/span><b>100 square meters<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
