It is located in the North of Phu Quoc Island, part of the Rach Vem fishing village, from Duong Dong town around 22 km away from 50 minutes by motorbike or car, to reach the beach you must first go through a 4 km long dirt road. If you want to find this beach, just find the directions on the map and fill “Rach Vem Fishing Village” \u00a0or “Starfish Beach” and follow those directions you will easily be found the way.<\/span><\/p>\n

A turning point to Starfish Beach<\/p><\/div>\n

Many tourists find this place to catch a glimpse of the pristine beauty, see the starfish with a great relaxing day here, but most of them can’t find it. The Starfish beach is about 2 km to the north of the beach from Rach Vem fishing village. So you want to come here you can go along the beach from the fishing village or a better way is to follow the trail, that means on the road to the fishing village (about 150 m) will have a red road on the right, where the fork has few pictures of the white sand beach with starfish, “Bien Xanh” and “Son Hai Quan” restaurants. Right here instead of moving straight, that will lead you into a popular place but it is not the most beautiful part of the starfish beach then let\u2019s follow the dirt road around 1 km you will go to the Starfish Beach \u2013 Rach Vem Beach Phu Quoc.<\/span><\/p>\n

To get to the most beautiful point of the area or Dragon Beach (Ham Rong)<\/a> (number 2 on the map), please follow this. When you arrive at the parking area, park your motorbike there and keep walking forward to the right around 500 – 600 m along the beach (from point 1 to point 2 in the photo above), there is not any lane going through the forest but walking along the beach. You will find the best point like in the pictures below. Dragon Beach is the last untouched paradise-like beach left in Phu Quoc Island.<\/p>\n\n

<\/span>When is the best time to visit Phu Quoc Starfish Beach?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

You should not visit here during: April till November, the sea is wavy and diry and cloudy as the rains erode lands and brings sand into the sea<\/span><\/p>\n

From November to April, the best period of time in Phu Quoc, which is the dry season with the blue as well as sunny sky, that is the best time you can see a lot of starfish here and admire the Starfish Beach at its best status in a year.<\/p>\n

It is also the ideal point for you to catch the sunset in the afternoon and feel the tranquility of the fishing village, the life of friendly and casual fishermen. The sunset usually starts from 5:30 pm, however, the distance is so far and many roads do not have lights so you also consider whether to go to this place by car or motorbike and the time you will come back to the hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from the untouched beauty of the sea and a lot of strange starfish, this area is really a vast natural part and in order to get all of the natural feelings you can walk along the beach by the natural forest, look at the distant mountains, islands and be oblivious of daily hurried as well as pressure life, it’s a great thing. The beach is about 5 km long, so you can enjoy exploring as well as the wilderness. (I often go camping in this area on the full moon date with my team, the feeling is so great!). There are a few houses with fresh seafood that you can have lunch at there. I’ve been eaten here many times with tourists because. While having lunch on a floating house, you will be admiring the sea, enjoying an airy – ventilation atmosphere, cool breeze, cool water from the sea. Oh, so perfect. After lunch, you can use hammocks and take a nap.<\/p>\n

Not far from these idyllic restaurants, it is Rach Vem fishing village, which is still quite pristine as well as idyllic and it still preserve the intact of an image of the past of a Viet Nam fishing village in general and Phu Quoc fishing village in particular. You can learn something from the simple life of the local fisherman, it is also an interesting experience.<\/p>\n

Note: Besides the restaurant, the service in this beach is very poor as there are no essential services such as the chair beach, toilet..<\/span><\/p>\n
