Phu Quoc will welcome the first private jet charter which carries 07 British and Polish tourists under the vaccine passport program on Thursday afternoon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is also the first group of European tourists visiting Phu Quoc after nearly two years since the country closed its borders and canceled all international flights in March last year due to the pandemic.The private jet is scheduled to depart from Nakhon Pathom, Thailand which is often referred as Thailand\u2019s oldest city, at 14:00, on 23 December and land at Phu Quoc International Airport at 16:35 on the same day. Upon arrival in Phu Quoc, the holidaymakers will be welcomed by authorities then undergo Entry Screening which is required as other\u00a0vaccine passports\u2019 holders<\/span><\/a>\u00a0in the\u00a0Phase 1 of Vietnam pilot reopening roadmap.\u00a0<\/span><\/a>The group of 7 overseas tourists will enjoy their Christmas and New Year\u2019s Eve holidays during 12 days 11 nights with 3 other family members arriving from Hanoi. After snorkeling time, the speedboat will head to\u00a0the last island \u2013 May Rut Trong\u00a0<\/span><\/a>where they feast on fresh fruits, cocktail party while witnessing the melting sunset.On the next day, the group of 10 are going to visit the South-East parts of Phu Quoc island with some highlighted destinations, namely:\u00a0Phu Quoc Pepper Farm<\/span><\/a>, Phu Quoc Fish sauce farm, Ham Ninh fishing village,\u00a0Sao Beach<\/strong>\u00a0and feast on a specialty lunch in this area.<\/p>\n

Kien Giang is one of five localities to get the green light from the government to welcome back fully immunized tourists from November onwards along with Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, and Da Nang.From January 2022, holiday-makers who have vaccine passports can combine multiple destinations in Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Da Nang, Quang Ninh (Ha Long Bay) and other localities can be added later. Visitors traveling to other selected destinations are required to have an entry visa application as policies.
