What kind of Nemo or Clownfish do you see in Phu Quoc?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The Pink Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprionperideraion) is very <\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">peaceful and can even be a little Timid. They are the calmest &amp; least aggressive fish on the reef in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The pink skunk clownfish (Amphiprionperideraion) has the following characteristics:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Color: Pink to peach or orange in color with light or transparent fins<\/li>\n<li>Stripes: A white stripe that runs from the head to the tail, and a white vertical stripe behind the eye<\/li>\n<li>Size: Can grow up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length, but are usually 1.8-2.2 inches (4.6-5.5 cm)<\/li>\n<li>Mouth: Adapted for suction feeding with pharyngeal teeth<\/li>\n<li>Mucus: The mucus on its flesh protects it from the stings of its host anemone<\/li>\n<li>Diet: Omnivorous, eating copepods, algae, isopods, zooplankton, and meaty foods<\/li>\n<li>Behavior: Peaceful, symbiotic relationship with sea anemones, and rarely swim far from their anemone host<\/li>\n<li>Reproduction: Egg layers that deposit their eggs on a flat surface, such as a live rock or tile<\/li>\n<li>Gender: All born male, but the dominant male changes into a female as they mature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-44963\" src=\"https:\/\/onbird.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/6-1.jpg\" alt=\"6\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-44968\" src=\"https:\/\/onbird.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/7-1.jpg\" alt=\"7\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pink Skunk Clownfish is the most common clownfish observed in Phu Quoc sea, t<span style=\"color: #555555; font-size: 14.4px;\">he combination of Dorsal stripe and Head Bar distinguishes it from most other clownfish species.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #073f54;\">So sorry for having to tell you that it&#8217;s pretty difficult to find cute-looking Clown-fish in Phu Quoc like the one you watch in the cartoon \u201cFinding Nemo\u201d, the most popular anemone fish that we find in Phu Quoc is \u201cPink Skunk Clown-fish\u201d or \u201cPink Anemone fish\u201d, like all anemone-fishes, it forms a symbiotic mutualism with sea anemones and is unaffected by the stinging tentacles of the host.
